An elderly woman was found dead in her apartment in Budapest’s District II around 6:00 p.m. on May 5, 2025. Her husband, who was also present at the scene and bleeding, was taken to the hospital by paramedics and is now under police guard as he is the suspected perpetrator.
Police conducted a forensic investigation at the scene, and the Budapest Police Headquarters has launched a criminal investigation on suspicion of homicide.
