On the night of May 2, 2025, authorities received a report of a fire in the underground garage of a residential building in Budapest’s District XI. After the flames were extinguished, the body of a 49-year-old woman was found between two parked cars.
In connection with the incident, the Homicide Division of the Budapest Police Headquarters has launched an investigation on suspicion of reckless endangerment causing death, currently against an unknown perpetrator.
