Bus and Car Collided in Budapest – Sixteen People Got Injured

A bus and a car collided in Budapest in district XVIII.

Police have been diverting traffic from Üllői road to the side streets between Petőfi and Garay streets.

A bus and a car collided in Budapest, district XVIII., at the intersection of Üllői road and Szarvas csárda square on August 10th, around 4 p.m.

“Several people got injured, their treatment and technical rescue are in progress” – police.hu wrote.

Police closed Üllői road between Petőfi street and Garay street, and the vehicles have been diverted to the parallel streets. The Budapest Police Headquarters asks those driving there to be extra careful. In response to MTI’s request, the National Emergency Service stated that eight emergency units were called to the scene. A total of sixteen injured people were taken to hospital: one of them was seriously injured, and another fifteen people suffered minor injuries.
