In autumn, the rate of workplace resignations tends to rise again, often due to shortcomings in company management and organizational structure, according to Gyula Piroska, founder of Seminar Consulting.
He believes that staff turnover is mainly caused by poor recruitment, inadequate onboarding, and a lack of leadership by example. As prevention, he recommends conscious team building, well-targeted job advertisements, and a carefully designed training system.
If an employee decides to leave after the summer break, it is advisable to have an honest conversation with them; however, if their decision is final, it is best to close the employment relationship quickly.
