Hot Water Shut Off in the BGE Lavatories

In the building of the Budapest University of Economics, offices and classrooms will be heated between 18-20 degrees, while corridors, restrooms and all other rooms will be 18 degrees.

The temperature of the rooms used for sports will be set to 18 degrees on Monday, the students will be informed about this in a Neptun message in the morning. According to Eduline, since part of BGE’s correspondence students always study online, it will be 15 degrees in unused classrooms and outside working hours in all educational buildings. The Neptun message also reveals that the hot water is turned off in the university’s lavatories. They specifically wrote the domestic hot water (“DHW”) service in the WC and washrooms will be discontinued. The hot water in the showers of gymnasiums and sports facilities is set to 38 degrees.
