The Balaton InterCity hit and killed a man at the Háros station on Sunday morning.
As a result of the tragedy, the timetables of several trains were changed. InterCity passengers who departed from Déli railway station to Keszthely at 10:35 and were diverted to Érd felső have been transferred to the train running between Kőbánya-Kispest-Székesfehérvár. During the site investigation, trains between Háros and Nagytétény-Diósd ran only on one track. The travel time of trains running on the Budapest-Pusztaszabolcs line, Mecsek IC in Pécs, and Székesfehérvár trains were extended by 10-20 minutes.
