Fire broke out in the early evening of October 12th in Budapest, on the ground floor of an apartment building on Kertész street, but it turned out that it was not an accident: 48-year-old Gyula K. who lives there opened the gas tap and started a fire in his home, police.hu reports.

In his confessional statement, the confused man said, he wanted to blow up his apartment, but then he got scared and ran away. Due to the fire, 15 people had to leave their homes, the smoke spread to neighboring apartments, but no one was injured. K. Gyula was interrogated for causing public danger.
