A person was hit by subway number 2 in, Budapest, district XII., at the Széll Kálmán square station, on the line leading to Örs vezér square, Disaster Management has reported.
The affected section was de-energized. Technical rescue is carried out by the capital’s professional firefighters. Ambulances also arrived at the scene. According to 24.hu, the victim is a 30-40-year-old man who suffered so serious injuries that his life could not be saved.
For a while, replacement buses ran between Déli Railway Station and Deák Ferenc square, but an hour ago the metro was running again on the full line.
