Interpol announced the starting of the Infra-red 2010 international police action. The action will take place 5-31 July 2010 involving police forces of 29 countries.

The INFRA-RED (International Fugitive Round-up and Arrest) operation`s aim to search for and capture internationally wanted fugitives with the large scale involvement of the media. The Interpol`s first kind of operation was a huge success with the capture of 45 wanted criminals last year.
29 countries will take part this year`s operations: Albania, Australia, Austria, Bangladesh, Belarus, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Montenegro, Netherlands, Oman, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America.
