Prime Minister Viktor Orbán over the weekend visited a nursery re-opened in Acsalag, in north-western Hungary, with central support provided under the government’s Hungarian Village development scheme.
The nursery was closed by the previous government in 2009 but reopened in September last year with a 60 million forint (EUR 167,000) government support. The Hungarian Village programme was launched in 2019 with a budget of 150 billion forints. It had a budget of 270 billion forints in 2021 increased to 1,000 billion this year.
