The Budapest Transport Center (BKK) continuously provides the public transport service at the end of the year: on New Year’s Eve, many high-capacity flights will run all night, the company told MTI on Friday.
According to the announcement, all metros, and trams 4, 6, 14, 17, 47, 50, 56A, and trolleybus 80, as well as bus 7 and bus 8E, and trains will run all night on all HÉV lines. As it was written, on New Year’s Eve, before the daytime closure, trams 4, 6 and 17, as well as buses 8E, 85 and 224, will run more frequently than usual. They added: on January 1st, Monday, the daytime flights run according to the public holiday and non-working day traffic schedule, while the Budavár Cable Car will start from 3 p.m.
