International Children’s Day is held on 1 June 2014.

The World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland proclaimed 1 June to be International Children’s Day in 1925.

International Children’s Day is usually marked with speeches on children’s rights and wellbeing, and other events involving or dedicated to children.

National Children’s Days are recognized on various days in many places around the world to honor children globally.
