The police caught five people and took another twenty-four to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Three perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another two were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Seven people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were three traffic accidents from which all resulted in minor injuries.
A 30 year old woman was caught stealing a pair of earrings in a store in Debrecen yesterday afternoon. After the security guards called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against her on reasonable suspicion of theft.
